Gold bars worth Rs 30 lakh seized from air passenger

Gold bars worth Rs 30 lakh were today seized from a passenger who arrived at the International airport here from Dubai, custom officials said today.

30-year-old Ameer Ariyamillathil hailing from Vatakara in Kozhikode, had smuggled in the gold bars wrapped in black cello tape and concealed them in his hip pocket, they said adding, the accused is being questioned.
