Gopi, Singh finish 5th and 6th at Baghdad Half Marathon

India's T Gopi and Man Singh finished creditable fifth and sixth respectively at the Baghdad International Half Marathon race here.

Gopi covered the 21.0975 kilometre distance in one hour four minutes and 55 seconds while Singh clocked 1:05:00 in the race on Saturday.

The half marathon was held in Baghdad to support peace and security and it was participated by around 4000 runners from 24 countries, media reports said.
