Govt releases Rs 9.67 crore for Magh Mela
The Uttar Pradesh government has released Rs 9.67 crore for organising Magh Mela in Allabahad next year, official sources said here today.
The government will hold a meeting on December 26 to review preparations of the mela, the sources said.
During the mela, lakhs of devotees take holy dip in the Ganga.
The event, which is a 45-day affair, attracts tourists from others states also.
