Groundnutoil prices rose at the oil and oilseed wholesale market here today due to good demand from stockist and retailers.
Refined palmolein recovered slightly owing to mild offtake from retailers.
While, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial slipped on reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil continued to rule stable in the absence of necessary buying support.
Turning to edible segment, Groundnutoil climbed by Rs 10 per 10kg to close at Rs 980 from Monday's closing level of Rs 970 and refined palmolein inched up by a Re 1 to Rs 457.
In non-edible section, castorseed bold declined by 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,750 from its previous level of Rs 3,775 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to 780 from Rs 785. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 875 per 10kg.
