Gur remains flat on lack of price movements

The wholesale gur (jaggery) market remained steady in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile activity and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said lack of worthwhile activity and adequate stocks position mainly kept gur prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates per quintal:

Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500- 3,600 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,900-2,950, chakku 2,850-3,100, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.

Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya 3,050-3,100.
