Gwen Stefani hosting fundraiser with Michelle Obama

The 'No Doubt' hitmaker will stage a 'Family Day' with the US First Lady at her Beverly Hills home on August 12, Hollywood Reporter said.

Stefani, 42, who is married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, recently has moved decisively into activist philanthropy.

She had donated USD 1 million to aid children affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. She also has staged a series of online auctions of vintage items from her own fashion-forward wardrobe to benefit children's causes.
