Haryana govt to construct toilets in all girls schools

Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma today said toilets would be constructed in all state-run girls schools and a special sanitation fund would be sanctioned for the same.

Toilets would be constructed in all state-run girls schools in alignment with the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and all schools will be provided with dual desks and benches by the end of next year, said the minister, who conducted a surprise inspection at a primary school here.

He added that the schools fulfilling the criterion for upgradation will soon be upgraded.
