Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel today took part in a cleanliness drive at 'Futala Lake, a prominent landmark of the orange city.
Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in- Chief, Maintenance Command, spearheaded the campaign (Swachh Abhiyan), which saw participation from almost 3,000 IAF personnel.
Families of air warriors, too, joined the noble cause.
The highlight of the event was voluntary participation by children of a number of schools and colleges of Nagpur, social workers, citizens, NGOs apart from support by civic authorities.
