IBC South Zone fight card in Chennai tomorrow

The Indian Boxing Council (IBC) will organise its third professional fight night here tomorrow, titled Golden Gloves South Zone.

After conducting fight cards twice in Delhi, the IBC has moved to Chennai, which has not witnessed a professional boxing fight night for a long time.

"It is the first professional boxing night in Chennai in 70 years," claimed IBC President Brig (Retd) P K Muralidharan Raja.

The IBC will be holding its biggest event so far on July 16 when Vijender competes for the WBO Asia title against a yet-to-be-named opponent.
