Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial firmed up at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on persistent demand from soaps and shippers industries amid reduced arrivals from producing region.
While, groundnut oil and refined palmolein weakened further due to poor offtake from stockists and retailers amidst ample supply.
Meanwhile, linseeds oil continued its steady trend in absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edibles segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,390 from Tuesday's close Rs 4,375 and castor oil commercial edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 908 as against Rs 905 yesterday.
Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 800 per 10 kg.
Moving to the edible section, groundnut oil slid by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 910 as compared to Rs 920 and refined palmolein moved down by Rs 4 per 10kg to Rs 625 as against Rs 629.
