Kerala government today ordered a probe into the death of Rejimon, a news cameraman with Mathrubhumi Television channel, due to alleged negligence at the General hospital here.
"Government is conducting an inquiry into the death of Rejimon at the General Hospital here. Sharing grief of family," Chief Minister Oommen Chandy tweeted.
Earlier speaking to reporters, Chandy said there was no justification to the lightning strike by doctors at the Hospital to protest against the suspension of the doctor who attended to Rejimon.
Rejimon (32) was admitted to the hospital yesterday after he complained of uneasiness and later died.
Meanwhile, the hospital's functioning was affected due to the doctors' strike.
