Leopard cub trampled by vehicle

A leopard cub was found dead at Kaladhungi near Bailparao Police Station late this evening after it was trampled by a vehicle.

The dead cub was found at 9.30 pm, and was retrieved by a team of police officials.

Additional Chief Conservator of forest, Parag Madhukar Dhakate said that the leopard died as a result of being trampled under a vehicle.

The vehicle and driver in question remain unknown.
