Man arrested for killing his wife

The man, who had allegedly battered to death her wife with stones in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri area yesterday, has been arrested.

Aarti (30) and Rahul were in a relationship and had tied the nuptial knot about a month-and-a-half ago, police said today.

It is suspected the couple had an argument and Rahul in a fit of rage killed Aarti with stones last night.

Rahul told to police that his wife used to keep a tab on his activities and would keep inquiring where he was going or coming from which was annoying him, police said.

Yesterday, he called up police at 7.30 PM and told them that he had killed Aarti. He said he would come to police station but had fled.
