A man has been booked for allegedly harassing a 15-year-old girl here, police said today.
The victim complained that the man Kuldeep entered her house yesterday by jumping over the boundary wall and started harassing her after dragging her into a room, a police spokesperson said.
As the girl shouted, her younger brother rushed into the room following which Kuldeep fled from the spot, he said.
Before leaving, the accused threatened the girl of dire consequences on telling the incident to anyone, he said.
On the basis of the girl's complaint, a case has been registered in the matter and an investigation is underway, the Spokesperson said.
