A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in his house at Wajidpur village in the district, police said today.
Nitu took the extreme step last evening and pistol used in the act has been recovered, police said.
Prima facie, he was worried over some unidentified cause, they said, adding that his body has been sent for postmortem.
The matter is being further probed, they said.
