A 24-year-old man was shot dead today in a brawl after a goat entered his house in Uttar Pradesh's Salenagar village, police said.
The incident took place when Javed's family got involved in a scuffle with their neighbour Samayuddin whose goat entered their house today morning.
According to police, they had a heated argument which escalated soon when supporters of both the sides joined in and fought with sticks. A few gunshots were also fired.
Javed's sister and cousin also got injured in the incident.
An FIR has been registered on the complaint of Javed's family and police are looking for the accused who are absconding.
