Man shot dead over old enmity: Police

A 45-year-old man was shot dead by four men over an old enmity at Istam village in Bisanda area of the district, police said today.

Lalman alias Lali Yadav was shot dead by four brothers in the village last night, Banda Additional SP Ashutosh Shukla said.

The incident is stated to be fallout of an old enmity as the victim had allegedly killed a brother of the accused, he said.

An FIR has been lodged in this matter and a hunt is on to apprehend the culprits, Shukla said.
