City-based Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) will conducting a national seminar "SemSim 2015" on 'Emerging Concepts and Innovative Technologies in Military Simulators and Robotics' 2 here.
Simulator Development Division (SDD) of MCEME will is conduct the two-day seminar from December 2 under the aegis of Army Training Command and in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a Defence release said today.
This seminar is an effort to bring all important stakeholders together in crystallising the way forward in the high-tech domain of Simulators and Robotics, with meaningful exchange of information and expertise between Defence forces, R&D organisations, academia and industry, it said.

For developers and manufacturers, this will be a rare opportunity to demonstrate simulators, robots, development tools, emerging technologies and other related products to a large spectrum of prospective customers.
Over the years, SDD has made giant strides in development of simulators, kick starting simulator-based training in the Indian Army.
SDD is a "Centre of Excellence" and has many niche technologies to its credit with Virtual Reality based Networked Simulators, High Level Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality to mention a few, the release added.
