Minor raped in Muzaffarnagar

A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man at his home in Shoram village here, police said today.

The accused, Rampal (55), lured the girl, a resident of the same village, to his home yesterday and allegedly raped her, SHO A P Gautam said.

The girl narrated the incident to her parents upon returning home who then lodged a complaint with police.

A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC.
