MP: three govt officers suspended for irregularities

Three government employees have been suspended for irregularities in the implementation of development works in Shahpur development block of Betul district.

An official release said that during his Betul visit, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had expressed displeasure at indifference in implementation of development works.

Subsequently, assistant engineer Chain Singh Raghuvanshi, Assistant Development Extension Officer Gulab Rao Pawaria and Kisnu Uikey were suspended.

A committee headed by deputy collector Chandra Pratap Singh has also been constituted to enquire into irregularities in distribution of diesel pump sets in the Janpad Panchayat.
