Amid demands for a judicial probe into the recent drug haul, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today said police had been given clear directions to nab all those involved in it howsoever well connected they may be.
"The Punjab Police have been given clear-cut instructions to arrest the culprits howsoever well connected they may be, and deal with the cases firmly," he said replying to queries of the reporters.
The Congress leaders have been demanding a judicial probe into the drug racket alleging some Akali leaders were involved in it.

The Punjab Police had recently busted a massive drug racket with the seizure of 600 kg of chemicals. Arjuna awardee wrestler Jagdish Bhola and his four associates were arrested in this connection.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who held Sangat Darshans in Bathinda district, alleged the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre had ruined the country completely due to its wrong economic policies.
"People are feeling disenchanted with the government and will throw it out" in the upcoming elections, he said.
