Naidu condoles death of Carnatic vocalist Krishnamurthy

Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu today condoled the demise of Carnatic vocalist Nedunuri Krishnamurthy.

"Sad to know about the demise of Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, great Carnatic vocalist and Sageeta Kalanidhi," he said.

He said that Krishnamurthy developed his own unique style in Carnatic music and also contributed to popularise "Annamacharya Kritis".

"He left six decades of music career. I convey my heartfelt condolences," the Minister said.
