Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today greeted DMK Treasurer and Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu assembly M K Stalin on his elevation as working president of the DMK.
In a release, the Chief Minister said Stalin had proved his political capability on several occasions and been in close contact with several leaders across the country.
Wishing him an excellent career, Narayanasamy said Stalin had very ably served as minister and also Deputy Chief Minister and had been appointed through democratic process and was unanimous choice as DMK working president.

He also recalled Stalin's propaganda skills during the assembly polls last year and projection of the theme of 'Namakku Naamey Thittam' proved his "profound political prowess."
DMK is an alliance partner of the ruling Congress here.
The Congress, having a strength of 15 in the 30-member Assembly here, enjoys the support of the two-member DMK from outside.
Stalin was among DMK functionaries, who campaigned in Nellithope constituency seeking votes for Narayanasamy during the bypoll held on November 19.
