NDFB(S) militant held

A hardcore NDFB(S)

militant was arrested along with arms during an operation in Chirang district today, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and army launched a joint operation in Amguri area of the district along Indo-Bhutan border and caught Iyov alias Daflang.

A 7.65 mm pistol along with two rounds of cartridges were recovered from his possession, police said.
