Press Trust of India New Delhi
Amid subdued domestic demand, nickel fell by 0.44 per cent lower at Rs 792.60 per kg in futures trade today as speculators cut down their bets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in December was trading down by Rs 3.50, or 0.44 per cent, at Rs 792.60 per kg in a business turnover of 62 lots.

The metal for delivery in current month was also down by Rs 3.30, or 0.42 per cent, to trade at Rs 788.50 per kg in a turnover of 858 lots.

Analysts said the fall in nickel prices was mostly in-line with a weakening trend at the spot markets due to sluggish demand from consuming industries but metal's strength overseas, limited the loss.
