Nine motorists caught by traffic police for drunken driving

Nine motorists including three women were caught by the Hyderabad Traffic Police during a drive against drunken driving in Banjara Hills, the police said here today.

Challans were issued against two persons driving bikes, besides against seven others driving cars, including three women (including a techie and a fashion designer) after they were caught driving their vehicles in a "drunken state" last night, a traffic police officer said.

All of them were later let off. However, they have to attend counselling sessions organised by traffic cops.
