Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will lead an Indian delegation for the bilateral energy dialogue with Canada.
The three-day bilateral energy dialogue, which began today, covers areas like hydrocarbon, thermal energy and renewable energy, an official statement said here.
On the sideline of the bilateral energy dialogue with his Canadian counterpart in Calgary, Pradhan will also address two business conferences in Calgary and Vancouver where CEOs from various companies in energy sector will participate.
Canada is a mineral resource rich country. According to estimates Canada has third largest oil reserves in the world and has substantial natural gas reserves.
State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has invested in a LNG project in Canada.
