One arrested with pistol from train

Railway police said Kapil Mahato of Motihari in Bihar was caught during a routine search operation early this morning.

Mahato, a registered porter in Dimapur station, was going to Bihar. One 1.65 mm pistol, two magazines and a mobile handset were seized from him.

During interrogation, Mahato said he had bought the weapons from a person in Dimapur in Nagaland and was on his way to Bihar to sell it to another person.
