Pakistan today skipped a meeting of narcotics control officials of South Asia which was attended by all other neighbouring countries of India.

Pakistan has conveyed its inability to attend the 'Sub- regional drug focal point meeting and drug demand reduction expert group consultations, South Asia', an official said.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the meeting that was attended by representatives of Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

This was for the second time Pakistan skipped a South Asia regional meeting after the cancellation of the National Security Advisor level meeting last month.

Last week, Pakistan did not send any representative to a meeting of South Asian regional disaster management.

However, a 16-member delegation of Pakistan Rangers today arrived here to attend a meeting with its Indian counterparts Border Security Force.
