Priyanka Gandhi undergoes minor surgery

Priyanka Gandhi underwent a minor surgery in a private hospital here today.

41-year-old Priyanka underwent a gall bladder surgery at Gangaram Hospital and is stable, sources said though officially no comments came from the hospital.

Her mother and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi visited her at the hospital.

"Priyanka is alright," Rahul told reporters when asked about his sister but did not give any further details.
