Prohibitory orders have been imposed in the district ahead of Gram Panchayat polls, officials said.
Additional District Magistrate Manoj Kumar Singh today said section 144 of the CrPC has been promulgated to maintain law and order in the district and to ensure smooth conduct of the poll.
The orders will remain in place till January 28, 2016.
