Rajnikanth congratulates Modi for his 'historic' win

He also greeted TN CM J Jayalalithaa through another tweet

Superstar Rajnikanth today greeted BJP leader Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for their parties' impressive performance in the Lok Sabha elections.

"Hearty Congratulations dear @narendramodi Ji on your historic win. Best wishes," the veteran star wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

He also greeted Jayalalithaa through another tweet, saying "My congratulations to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha ji on her landslide victory" in the state.

Modi has called on Rajnikanth during the campaign for the Lok Sabha polls. The 'Kochadaiyaan' star had recently joined Twitter.
