Voicing concern over damage caused by heavy rain in the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat today directed the administration to submit an assessment report of the losses by Monday.
Chairing a meeting with various departmental heads here, Rawat said the assessment should be done following the guidelines set by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
The Chief Minister has appointed a nodal officer in several departments -- construction, drinking water, irrigation, agriculture, power and livestock -- to supervise the assessment.
