Amid pick up in domestic demand at spot market and restricted supplies from the growing regions, refined soya oil prices were up 0.26 per cent to Rs 600.15 per 10 kg in futures trade today.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month February edged up by Rs 1.55 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 600.15 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,07,440 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in January contracts traded higher by Rs 1.30 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 604.60 per 10 kg in 32,070 lots.

Marketmen attributed the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade to pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from the producing belts.
