Road traffic affected after accident

Road traffic between Jamshedpur and Ghatsila on NH-33 was affected for over two hours today as local people put up a blockade after a motorcyclist was killed under the wheels of a dumper and the pillion rider seriously injured near Balidih village today, police said.

The police resorted to lathi-charge after repeated appeals to clear the road did not yield any result.

Police said the seriously injured pillion rider have been admitted to Tata Main Hospital here.
