Rs 5 lakh gutted in ATM fire in Moga

An amount of Rs five lakh was gutted when a fire broke out at an ATM of a public sector bank here, police said here.

The fire engulfed the Punjab National Bank's cash vending machine located at Akalsar road here in the afternoon, they said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Rs 5 lakh cash was gutted in the fire and short circuit can be the reason behind the incident.
