Scribe shot dead in Etawah

A local scribe was shot dead here today allegedly by motorcycle-borne assailants in Bakewar police station area, police said.

Surendra Sharma, working for Hindi daily 'Aaj' was shot dead while he was on his motorcycle on National Highway, police said.

The investigation is on, they said.
