Senior MHA official discusses security issues with J-K guv

Against the backdrop of escalation in ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir, a senior official of the Union Home Ministry today called on Governor N N Vohra and discussed various matters relating to internal and external security.

Additional Secretary K Skandan, who called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here, discussed measures to secure sustained peace and normalcy in the state, a Raj Bhavan spokesman said.

Issues relating to the recent attempts at infiltration from across the LoC were also discussed, he said.

Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Dr S S Bloeria, also called on the Governor and discussed various matters relating to development of the University, the spokesman said.
