Six astride motorcycles die in road accidents

Three persons, including a couple, were killed today when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on a national highway near Usraina village.

Ram Swaroop, aged 55 years, his 50-year-old wife Raj Jiyani and her brother Vijaypal (32) were killed, police said adding the truck driver had been arrested.

In another accident, three youth, riding a motorcycle, were killed when a truck hit their vehicle near Haswa turn last night.

The victims were returning home from work when the accident happpened, police said.
