Sushma demands Justice Ganguly's resignation as WBHRC chief

BJP leader Sushma Swaraj tonight demanded the resignation of former Supreme Court judge A K Ganguly, accused of sexually harassing a young woman law intern, as Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission, saying "not only Caesar's wife but Caesar too must be above suspicion".

"I strongly feel that Justice A K Ganguly should resign as Chairperson of West Bengal Human Rights Commission", she said in a post on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Not only Caesar's wife but Caesar too must be above suspicion", the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha added.

Justice Ganguly has been accused by the law intern of sexually harassing her, a charge denied by him.
