Teenager kills his father over a family dispute

A teenage boy has allegedly killed his father over a family dispute in Gonda district, police said today.

18-year-old Mahesh Pandey attacked his father Gayatri Prasad alias Kampu Pandey (42) last night with a sharp edged weapon in Susunda village under Paraspur police station area killing him on the spot, a police official said.

The accused has been arrested alongwith the weapon used in the crime and a case has been registered, they added.
