Dumka recorded the season's highest temperature at 44 degrees Celsius even as temperatures in some districts of Jharkhand marginally fell today.
Dhanbad sizzled at 43 degrees Celsius followed by Bokaro (42), the MeT office said.
However, Jamshedpur, which recorded a high of 45.8 degrees Celsius yesterday, registered 42.9 degrees Celsius.

Palamau, Giridih and Latehar recorded 41.4, 40 and 39 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT office said.
