The 64th Indian Foundry Congress (IFC), organised by the Institute of Indian Foundrymen, will be held here from January 29.
With the theme 'Nurturing Manufacturing', the three-day event will focus on manufacturing and capitalise on the opportunities provided by 'Make in India' push by the government, IFC officials said.
As a concurrent event of IFC, the 12th International Foundry Exhibition will showcase modern foundry technology, equipment, supplies and services and offer an excellent platform for Indian and overseas companies to interact and benefit, they said.

Cast India Expo, a parallel event, will display the casting capacities and capabilities of Indian foundries and this would be attended by potential customers globally as the expo will be a leading sourcing destination for castings in Asia.
There will be sessions on advanced cast alloys and applications, computer-aided casting technologies, new casting processes and materials, foundry automation and equipment, foundry management and best practices and metal casting education and training, they added.
