Three persons were injured in a clash between members of two communities when a stone was hurled on a tazia procession on the occasion of Muharram in Bihar's Madhubani district today.
Superintendent of Police Akhtar Hussain said the clash took place near Gandhi Chowk after a stone was thrown on the procession.
Stones were thrown by both sides during the clash which caused injury to three persons, the SP said.

Senior civil and police officials rushed to the spot immediately and brought the situation under control, he said.
The situation was now fully under control, Hussain said adding that he along with district magistrate Kuldip Narayan were camping at the site to maintain peace.
The place where the clash occurred is about 35 km from the district headquarter town of Madhubani at the India-Nepal border.
