Three members of a family, including two minors, were electrocuted at Chanvai village, about nine km from here, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening when Kajal Patel (17) went to collect clothes that were put to dry on a metal line tied to an electric pole outside her house, realising little that current was running into the line through the pole, police said.
As she got electrocuted, her younger brother Shivam (11) went to rescue her but he also got electrocuted.
Later, while trying to save them, their father Dalpatbhai Patel (45) too got electrocuted, police said.
Dalpatbhai's wife Miraben and mother Meenaben were out working as housekeepers when the incident took place, they said.
