Time frame extended for registration of properties in Pb

Punjab government has extended the time-frame for all allottees of immovable properties to get their conveyance deeds registered at rates mentioned in their allotment letters, by two months.

Disclosing this, Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue Minister, Punjab said after considering the demand of allotees' a decision was taken by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Sigh Badal and on his directions required notification in this regard had been issued by the state Revenue department.

He said that this benefit was being extended at the time of execution of first conveyance deed of such property to all those allottees, who have taken the possession of their properties after depositing their all instalments.
 

He clarified that this concession had now been extended for two months -from June 30 till August 28.

Earlier, the allottees' were required to get conveyance deed executed at collector rate that was linked to present market rate of property.
