Tourists rescued after boat runs aground in France

Nearly 200 British and American tourists were rescued today after a tourist boat ran aground on the French side of the Rhine near Strasbourg, firefighters said.

The 196 passengers and 44 crew members were transported to the German side of the river in another boat and there were no injuries, they said.
