Press Trust of India New Delhi
Building trust between nations was an important aspect of global cyber security endeavours, Estonian Education and Research Minister, Jaak Aaviksoo, said today.

In the city to participate in a two-day conference on cyber security and e-governance organised by Observer Research Foundation, Aaviksoo said that cyberspace was no longer an exclusively virtual domain and was affected by physical elements as well.

Meanwhile, in an interesting exercise, the minister cast his vote in his country's national elections from a New Delhi hotel using an electronic ID.

Estonia has risen to become one of the most-advanced countries in the cyber sphere after it fell victim to a massive cyber attack in 2007. The country now hosts Nato's cyber coordination centre.
