TVS Electronics Q2 net up at Rs 1.35 crore

Computer peripherals maker, TVS Electronics reported a 57 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 1.35 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The Tamil Nadu-based company had registered a net profit of Rs 86 lakh during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, TVS Electronics said in a regulatory filing.

Net profit for the six-month period ending September 30, grew to Rs 2.22 crore from Rs 1.08 crore registered during the same period last year.

Total income from operations for the July-August quarter surged to Rs 192.47 crore from Rs 69.75 crore registered during the year-ago period.
 

For the six-month period, total income from operations soared to Rs 312.21 crore from Rs 129.42 crore recorded during corresponding period of the previous year.
