Woman jumps off Metro stairs in suicide bid, hospitalised

A 35-year-old woman attempted suicide by jumping off the stairs at the City Centre Metro Station on the Dwarka-Noida Blue Line here today, but escaped with minor injuries.
The woman, identified as Upasna, was admitted to the district hospital, police said, adding that she refused to talk to police about the motive.
Two mobile phones, passport and other documents have been recovered from her purse.

Police said the woman was a divorcee and was living with her parents at Rajouri Garden Delhi.
When a police team reached the house, it was found locked, a police officer said, adding that Delhi Police have been approached in connection with the case.
